Conjugation/Attachment Methods
There are several methods for conjugation/attachment depending on your application. See table below to select the correct method and then proceed to that method's instructions.

Method Type of Peptide or Protein to be Attached
EDC Attachment Peptides and linkers that contain carboxylic acids such as aspartic acid, glutamic acid and end terminus carboxylic acids
AMAS/Traut's Reagent Peptides and proteins that contain free primary amines such as unblocked lysine
AMAS/DTT Antibodies and peptides that have cysteine bridges that can be used for conjugation
HBTU/HOBt Coupling Carboxyl-substituted peptides, such as those containing aspartic and glutamic amino acids, that do not contain primary amines and can be activated in DMF
Covalent Attachment of Activated Carboxylic Acids Activated carboxyl-substituted peptides or proteins such as N-hydroxysuccinimide esters
